About this service
Are you an insurance company?
No. Truck-Insurance-Center forwards requests to licensed agents and partners. It does not issue policies.
Do I pay anything to request quotes?
Asking costs nothing. No fee is charged to drivers for sending a request.
Who will reach out?
Someone licensed who handles owner-operator policies may call, text or email you, using the contact methods you agreed to.
My carrier deducts insurance from my settlements. Is that allowed?
Federal leasing rules allow chargebacks if the lease spells out the items and amounts. Ask your carrier for the details in writing.
Can I get physical damage on an older truck?
Often yes. Insurers look at the truck's value and condition; very old or high-mileage trucks may have fewer options.
What if I have a recent accident?
Include it. Insurers will see it on your record, and disclosing it up front avoids surprises.
Can you help if I haul for more than one carrier?
Describe your situation on the form. Trip leasing and multiple carriers affect which coverage applies.
How do I stop messages?
Text STOP, tell whoever calls that you are done, or send the form on our privacy page.
Coverage questions
Does the carrier's insurance cover my truck if I crash?
Usually the carrier's policy covers your liability to others while under dispatch. Damage to your own truck is generally your responsibility through physical damage coverage.
Is NTL the same as my carrier's liability insurance?
No. The carrier's policy covers you under dispatch. NTL is your own policy for times outside dispatch.
Is occupational accident required by law?
Generally no, but many carriers require it in their lease agreements.
Can I keep my NTL policy after I get my own authority?
Usually it is replaced by primary liability, which covers both business and personal use under its terms.
